【Summary】
PDF Offline DRM can permit a pdf document to be viewed in limitted number of times, or in a period of validity, can encrypt the pdf file with some permissions such as printing, changing, copying and extracting, etc. It also can prevent the pdf file to be copied to the unauthorized clients, prevent to be copied as backups in the authorized client itself, can automatically deleted the file which is out of date is invalid, prevent screen copying. It has powerful watermark security, such as dynamic time watermark. PDF Offine DRM system has server and client side. Server side is responsible for create the encrypted PDF files, sets the permissions for the pdf files such as be viewed in limitted number of times, a period of validity, etc. The server side also can extract some pages for tentatively reading, and can do only the watermak function. The Client side runs on Adobe Acrobat, it executes the pdf document's permissions which set by server side. Client side is very easy to be used, it can open the pdf files by double-click or directly from the "open" menu, the end users need not enter any password. The server and client sides both can be updated automaticly.
